Walk/Wade Fly Fishing Trip

The Blue Quill Angler Colorado fly fishing guide service operates out of our fly shop in Evergreen, Colorado – 25 minutes west of Denver. We are a professional guide service offering guided walk/wade and float fly fishing trips to a multitude of public and private water destinations in the Rocky Mountain region of Colorado since 1988. What sets us apart from other outfitters is the expertise of our guide staff, along with our extensive permits that allow us to guide rivers others can’t.

Our fly shop and on-line store are fully stocked with the best gear from the best brands in the industry. We welcome fly anglers of all skill levels, whether it's your first time out, or you are a seasoned veteran. Our passionate and helpful shop staff are standing by to assist you whenever you walk into our shop, or are simply calling in for help or advice. We are here to help in any way we can.

Guiding is much more than just catching fish. We put you on the best water, with low client-to-guide ratios and cover all aspects of this wonderful sport. Our guide staff is lead by industry veteran, author and co-owner Pat Dorsey, whose knowledge and passion for fly fishing sets the tone for our entire guide staff. Our focus on providing a quality experience for our customers is shared by all of our staff members, whether they are working in the shop, filling an online order or teaching a person to fly fish for the first time.
