Coastal Charters Sportfishing is a full-time fishing outfit for the serious fisherman, specializing in light tackle jigging and popping with artificial lures for bluefin tuna. Captain Dom Petrarca has been chasing big offshore tuna, sharks and other pelagics for over 25 years in and around the waters of Southern New England. We also run inshore trips on several vessels all equipped with the very best safety gear and equipment. They will trailer to any of the available ramps in Southern New England, closest to the best fishing grounds. This maximizes your fishing time and decreases your transit times offering the best chances to hook that fish of a lifetime. Coastal Charters Sportfishing limits offshore trips to a maximum of 4 anglers and does not carry a mate, which decreases cost and allows more room for your fishing party. This also provides a much more hands-on experience, getting you right into the action throughout the entire catch process, from hunting and hooking to landing or releasing. Coastal Charters Sportfishing offers both private and open boat trips, from April through late November. Coastal Charters Sportfishing also specializes in inshore fishing trips for up to 6 anglers. This includes jigging for groundfish off Stellwagen Bank; spring squid, scup, winter flounder and black sea bass; and spring and autumn blackfish. Early summer inshore fishing trips include striped bass, bluefish, and fluke. We also accommodate other non-fishing excursions.
