Islamorada offers a lot of tournaments with this target in particular, and can be specific to gender and age groups for the participants on to competitive tournaments for experienced anglers unique to the region. Swordfishing has come a long way in the past 10 years. They can be targeted day or night, the Dauntless is a fast boat that allows you to have your baits in the water for the majority of the trip. Baits consist of rigged squid, strip baits, and live baits for the nighttime. 50-80 pound class tackle is used to target these fish. Swordfish average from 50-300 pounds. Using heavy tackle you will be able to capitalize on every opportunity not knowing when that monster bites your line. Season: Year Round

Offshore Fishing is a fully immersive experience offering some of the largest catches found near the Florida Keys. This will offer you an opportunity to catch your trophy fish as well as a catch for dinner. Expect to target pelagic species such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, and occasional Billfish. Season: Spring Summer Fall

Tarpon Fishing is usually recommended in the evening time, with the ideal time of year ranging from late spring and throughout the summer. This trip provides a great opportunity to catch big fish with light tackle. While fishing for tarpon you get a fantastic view of sunset in the Keys while you fish into the night. A tarpon trip is usually recommended from 4pm to 8pm. Season: Spring and All Summer

Reef/Wreck Fishing are all around casual experiences than can be productive year round. The perfect opportunity for a unique dinner and is fun for the entire family. The short distance is great for children, and the catches are action packed. The Florida Keys offer some of the tastiest fish that can be prepared by one of the many local restaurants for a hook-and-cook experience. Expect to target Snapper, Grouper, Mackeral, and Jacks.

Flyfishing is a specialty trip that can vary in targets depending on the season. Targets: Spring – Various Summer – Mahi Mahi Fall – Tunas Winter – Sailfish

Being based out of Islamorada, the Gulf of Mexico is easily accessible with just a 45 minute to 1 hour run to the heart of the best fishing grounds the Gulf has to offer. Fishing structures such as wrecks and submerged debris piles offer a productive way to fish these waters. Expect to target Goliath Grouper, Permit, Cobia, Snapper, and Mackerel. Season: Year Round
