Swordfishing has come a long way in the past 10 years. They can be targeted day or night, the Dauntless is a fast boat that allows you to have your baits in the water for the majority of the trip. Baits consist of rigged squid, strip baits, and live baits for the nighttime. 50-80 pound class tackle is used to target these fish. Swordfish average from 50-300 pounds. Using heavy tackle you will be able to capitalize on every opportunity not knowing when that monster bites your line.

Meet the Captain: Captain Jim Hendrix
Born and raised in south Florida he began fishing before he could walk. At just 12 years of age, Jim started coming down to Bud n’ Mary’s Marina to learn the tricks of the trade in the fishing world. He got his first job with Captain Paul Ross on the Relentless at 17, and quickly earned his captains license a year later. He continued working for Captain Paul for 13 years, taking a short interim in between to work for Captain Jimmy David on the L&H in Key Biscayne for 2 years. Captain Jim is experienced in various types of fishing and techniques as he has traveled the world. He has joined numerous tournaments during his fishing career and has been a part of some of the best teams which allowed him to earn a lot of proud titles in his career.
