Captain Chris Mendola has over 25 years of experience fishing and diving in the waters off the Florida Keys. Chris grew up fishing with his dad and got into commercial fishing at the age of 18. He's been a licensed captain and fishing guide for over a decade and has accumulated thousands of fishing spots producing a wide variety of fish.

With several tournament wins under his belt, Capt. Chris is an accomplished fisherman. Recognized in Key West for his local knowledge, Capt. Captain Kyle Hall has been a resident of the Florida Keys for nearly half of his life spending the vast majority of his free time in and on the water fishing and diving. He is an upstate New York native but the call of the ocean brought him to South Florida in 2000. As a child, Captain Kyle’s family would vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and this is where his love for saltwater fishing flourished. He was eager to learn different fishing techniques and tips from wherever and whoever possible. From shore fishing for croaker and blue fish to offshore fishing for mahimahi and tuna and everything in-between. Moving to the Florida Keys allowed him to focus on learning new ways to target and catch a variety of different fish species. After 15 years of helping friends fish commercially and mating when needed, Kyle joined Captain Chris Mendola’s Far Out team full-time in 2018. When Kyle is not fishing, you can still find him in the warm waters of the Keys, diving for lobster. His favorite pastime is free diving recreationally and commercially searching under coral heads and grass ledges for those delicious crustaceans. With all of this experience, knowledge and skills under his belt, Captain Kyle is eager to create life long memories while showing you the beautiful waters and wonderful fisheries that Key West has to offer!
