I'm a south Florida native, I grew up fishing the Everglades and the Florida Keys. I moved to Crystal River and have been fishing throughout the Nature Coast and Big Bend regions for the past 22 years. I started guiding in 2015, I have put in countless hours to learn and understand these waters. I continue to put in the extra effort to stay on fish and give my guests the best chance for sucess on the water. I guide on a Maverick HPX-S which allows me to fish in our area's shallowest backcountry tributaries and pristine grass flats. I offer fly fishing and light tackle trips targeting Snook, Redfish, Black Drum, Trout, Tripletail, Cobia, and Tarpon.

Don’t know where to start! My trip ended up being on a week that most guides canceled their charters, but Capt. Junior didn’t because he knew that was the only window that I could travel to fish this season. He worked SO HARD in windy conditions to get us on a bunch of fish, including some terrific reds. And his patience and humor kept our spirits up all day long. Can’t wait to get back out there with him again when the weather is right!

I have chased everything from redfish to tarpon and everything between with Jr. over the years. You won’t find another person that will work as hard to put you on fish. From the first step on the boat you will feel like family, Jr’s radiant upbeat personality makes even the harder days enjoyable. Can’t recommend him enough for beginners or experienced anglers!
