Hilton Head Inshore

Hi. I’m Captain Thomas MacDonald, and I’m a native who grew up fishing and exploring the local marshes and inland waterways. My passion began on a 12-foot wooden boat with my father, where I fell in love with the outdoors and exploring everything the Lowcountry has to offer. I’ve been a USCG licensed captain since I was 18 and earned my degree in Environmental Studies from the University of South Carolina.

I specialize in both inshore and nearshore fishing. From the avid fisherman to those looking for a fun-filled day on the water with their family, I’m all about making sure I put you on the fish. Ask anyone who has fished with me and they’ll tell you, I now enjoy watching people catch fish almost as much as I do catching them myself.
