+Guide: You will be hunting with an experienced guide each day.
+Food: Three well prepared meals a day as well as refreshments.
+If you would like Wine or Liquor please plan to bring your own.
+Lodging: We have a beautiful camp set into the heart of the Western badlands, if hunting 1x1 you will have a tent to yourself or if coming with a partner you will be two in a tent. We provide all the bedding you will need. Pack as if you were staying in a hotel.
+Meat Preparation: We will clean and freeze your birds for transportation.
+Additional Opportunities: You have the option of fishing our local waters or you can shoot prairie dogs near camp. We have equipment for you to use for both. These are activities are free of charge with the exception that you will be charged for ammo used and tackle lost.

My name is Anthony VonRuden. I started Montana Upland Outfitters for one reason... to allow me to spend as much time as possible in the field with my dogs! I travel across the country every year in search of new places and vast spaces. I’m fortunate to spend my early fall season sharing my knowledge of the birds and their habits with fellow hunters at our prairie creek camp in Eastern Montana.
I am passionate about this sport and enjoy every aspect of it. From covey rises to sunsets, from a dog's first hunt to its last, I try my best to cherish every moment. Simply put, I think I have the best job in the world.
I only hunt wild birds and relish the challenges that come with it. I love to shoot birds just as much as the next guy and no one will work harder to make sure that you get that opportunity, but at the end of the day I measure our success by the beauty of our surroundings and the efforts put forth by the dogs.
Ultimately when I decided to start this business it was with the hopes that my days could be spent covering the fields with great people who are just as passionate about the sport of upland hunting as I am.
