About
Our full day offshore trip is for those who want to test their endurance on the heavy weight of the northeast – the bluefin tuna – or maybe one of the many tooth creatures in our Atlantic waters. Offshore trips also provide a great opportunity to see whales, pelagic bird species, and other ocean wildlife. This is a 10-12 hour trip with an early start.

Captain Carl Bois, owner and operator of Topspin Fishing Charters, holds a 100-Ton Master License with tow endorsement from the US Coast Guard. He has a long family history of fishermen in New England waters, and a lifetime of experience in recreational, charter, and commercial fishing throughout Cape Cod and up into Maine.
Carl studied Outdoor Recreation and Park Management at Unity College and has used his education to guide adventures throughout his career, including white water rafting, snowmobiling, hikes in the Cascadian wilderness, rock climbing and ice climbing, wilderness-based therapeutic school, and of course fishing. Carl and his wife Sarah (ecologist and co-owner of Topspin) live on Nantucket year-round and are raising their son (and dog) on island.
