Medical Evacuations: Clients must have adequate travel and medical insurance that includes Medical Evacuation from point of injury. Global Rescue offers the most comprehensive insurance. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by client Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and effective as of the date it is receive by 4 Corners Costa Rica. Should a customer cancel and not able to find an immediate replacement: • If 4 Corners Costa Rica has more than 180 days’ notice, deposit is forfeited unless dates can be resold, in which case a 10% administrative fee will apply. • If 4 Corners Costa Rica has between 179 and 91 days’ notice, 70% of expedition costs are forfeited, unless the client can find a replacement. In which case a 10% administrative fee applies. • If 4 Corners Costa Rica has less than 90 days notice, 100% of expedition costs are forfeited, unless the client can find a replacement, in which case a 10% administrative fee will apply. If you fail to join an expedition, or join after departure, or leave prior to completion, no re-imbursement will be made. — A 7 day advanced notice for all cancellations is required for a full refund. Within 7 days you are responsible for 100% of the trip cost. Cancellation due to extreme weather conditions will be determined by the captain only when the safety of the client is at risk.
