I was born in Orlando, Florida and began fishing at a very young age. I graduated to the saltwater environment at the age of 10, when our family bought a condo on the east coast of Florida. I mastered my home waters of Mosquito Lagoon while in high school and made trips every other weekend to the west coast of Florida to fish the Charlotte Harbor area.

Capt. Mike Alfano is one of the most reputable and sought-after flats guides in the Islamorada region. He specializes in fly fishing and light tackle for tarpon, permit and bonefish. In addition to guiding, Mike is also a firefighter, paramedic and is the Captain of the Davie, FL Fire & Rescue near Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Gus has grown up fishing in Wisconsin's Vilas and Oneida counties since he was 7 years old. Of all the fish this region has to offer he has landed on the top predator of the northwoods food chain - the infamous musky. Although Gus is new to the guiding game he is no stranger to hooking in to these phantom fish on the regular.

Florida Outdoor Experience was started in 2013 with one goal in mind, and that was to allow people from all over the world a place to come and experience a piece of Old Florida through hunting, fishing, or hiking. Because of our extensive conservation efforts very little has changed in this part of Florida since my Great Great Great Grandfather settled here in the early 1800's.

Southern Roots Outfitters is based in Colorado near Vail and Glenwood Springs. We primarily guide float trips on the Colorado, Eagle, and Roaring Fork Rivers. Our guides are highly experienced professional anglers. Each guide is equipped with their own Drift boat or Raft and has years of experience in these waters under their belt.

Opened in 2009, we are a fly shop located in Key West, Florida. It is our intention to be at the leading edge of fly fishing in the Florida Keys. We have a full selection of rods, reels, fly lines, custom flies and technical clothing and can outfit you for just about any fishing trip you can imagine.

Captain Rob Fordyce, has been a professional guide, TV host and athlete, for the past 32 years. Rob spends an average of 250 days per year guiding anglers offshore and inshore for elusive gamefish with fly and light tackle. Rob was also nominated as one of the “Top 50 Fishing Captains” in the world.
