A native "Carterican" (Carteret County Native), Fishing has been a daily part of life since Capt. Joe's literal earliest memories. From back creek trout to offshore billfish, Giant Bluefin and a variety of fishing disciplines. Capt. Joe has been from South Florida to the Gulf of Maine. Carolina Traditions was started Capt. Joe's good friend and himself around late 2011 from a dream of theirs and idle talk. Through the years Capt. Joe's passions became refined and the pursuit of the areas most challenging species in sightfishing endeavors led to picking up the fly rod and more technical angling quests. Capt. Joe took over the business solely around 2016 and hasn't looked back since.
When you fish with Capt. Joe, whether it's a family fun charter or a more technical quarry like skinny water Redfish, False Albacore or Adult Drum. Rest assured, your experience will be custom tailored ton your abilities and desires. What Capt.
