Fightin Bottom Charters

Originally from south Ga, I grew up fishing the forgotten coast in the panhandle. My grandfathers, and uncle, and father always loved the fishing the coast anywhere from Apalachicola to Econfina. We would spend almost every weekend and every possible chance we had on the coast. I lost touch with the passion due to my career taking my time. Around 2014 I sold my motorcycles and bought another boat, I used the gulf and Mother Nature as a crutch to get through one of the lowest times of my life. During that time I decided to get my license and try to start guiding. In 2018 I walked away from my job and went all in. Today I’m absolutely obsessed with what I do for a living and love every single moment of it.

I spent 12 years in the poker industry, dealing, playing, and managing. That time helped me develop an incredible amount of patience. I also got used to the up and down swings poker dealers/players go though, it helped me keep my drive and desire to be a full time guide.

I have a passion for sharing my obsession with kids, older generations(their story’s are amazing), and anyone that’s looking to unplug from the rat race. I love taking kids and old men because when they hook up to whatever species we are chasing it’s uncontrollable excitement for young ones and for the older ones you take them back in time, the way they reminisce and giggle is my way of leaving a positive impact and I know that I’ve done something right.
