Flood Tide Fishing (4 Hrs)

Green Heron Adventures 3-5 years of experience

About

Flood tide fishing is a style of flats fishing that is so geographically unique to this area that it deserves its own category! From April through November our redfish (red drum) put on a “tailing” show as they feed on crabs in shallow grass flats during exceptionally large high tides. True "flood tides" do not happen most days so these trips are scheduled for specific times when local tide charts predict at 1-3 hours of true "flood tide" conditions within the trip. While the flood tide is the highlight, any time without a flood tide will be spent fishing other phases of our tides.
