I have been an avid fly fisher and outdoorsman from an early age. Since 1991 I have guided and instructed fly fishing professionally. In 1996 I was hired as the head guide for Taylor Creek fly shop in Basalt, Colorado. Taylor Creek is one of the finest and most prestigious fly shops in the country. It is an honor and a privilege to be in this position, and to be in the fly fishing industry.

I have now guided full-time for twenty-plus years and average around 210-220 days a year on the water. My other passion is adventure fly fishing travel and have been involved with this for the past 17 years. I have hosted over 30 trips to fly fishing destinations around the world including the Bahamas, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, and Christmas Island. I have also been fortunate to fish extensively in other places like Alaska, Florida, Louisiana, New England, the Rocky Mountain west, Argentina, New Zealand, and Costa Rica. I guess you could say fly fishing is my life. I am also an avid big game hunter.
