My 3/4 day bottom trip will leave the dock at 7am and return by 2pm. We will travel up to 20 miles from the inlet. The primary target species for this trip (depending on what is in season) include Gag Grouper, Black Sea Bass, Porgy, Grunt, Triggerfish, Snapper, Amberjack, and Cobia. All skill levels are welcome, although when we are gag grouper or amberjack fishing, be ready to turn the handle!

From trolling, to casting, and bottom fishing, having the unique fishery off the coast of NC makes for an exciting holistic bag of many species. My expertise comes from growing up trolling for offshore pelagic species and significant time spent commercially bottom fishing. What I enjoy more now, is the excitement and thrill of putting my clients on good fish!
