No matter if you are a fly fishing junkie or new to saltwater fishing, sight fishing on the flats in the Florida Keys is an experience that you will not forget. Tarpon, permit, and bonefish fill our shallows and offer epic angling opportunities.
Capt. Nick offers a variety of trip types including flats fishing, backcountry fishing, and Marquesas fishing depending on the conditions and desires. He will work closely with you to tailer each trip to your experience level, appetite for adventure, and targeted species.
Cost of fishing license is included in the trip price. Nick will reach out to finalize trip logistics such as meeting times and location prior to your trip.

Captain Nick LaBadie is a true Florida native. Born and raised on the West Coast of Florida he has been fishing since he could hold a rod. Growing up just a few miles from famous Boca Grande, he was introduced to one of the best fisheries in the world at a very young age and has proven his passion for the sport ever since.
Once he moved to the Florida Keys he spent every waking second obsessing over this new fishery. It didn’t take long to figure out that his passion was sight fishing in the shallows for a variety of species with both fly and spinning gear. He has made an obsession out of guiding people to tarpon, permit, bonefish and many other species in the backcountry of the Lower Keys and Key West.
Capt. Nick has been fishing the flats and backcountry around Key West since 2012 and spent his time exploring the surrounding area from Big Pine Key to the Marquesas Keys. He has developed and tailored techniques with countless hours guiding in the Florida Keys to give you the best experience possible.
