I have been taking folks fishing for 32 years in the upper Keys and Florida Bay/Everglades .
Specializing in fly and light tackle fishing with an emphasis on sight fishing when appropriate.
Beginners and experts all welcome. Young anglers also welcomed and encouraged.
I do my best to customize the fishing day to my angler’s wants and needs.

Fly and light tackle fishing in the Florida Keys and Florida Bay with an emphasis on shallow water sight fishing. Experts and beginners all welcome. My new 18 foot flats boat is ideal for one or two anglers but can accommodate three if a child is in the mix. Our fishing can vary from the most intense fly fishing for difficult species to simple and relaxing rod bending for easier targets. Just let me know what you have in mind.

Capt. Dave could not have made the experience anymore delightful. As first timers flyfishing the flats, Dave was filled with information on the region and the historical facts and details. Fishing was slow, but successful with a few nice game fish. My wife and I both threw some sloppy casts, and we didn't get yelled at.... LOL. Need I say, Dave was extremely patient with us both. GOOD MAN!
