I don’t think there is a finer way to spend a day than poling shallow water sight fishing with a fly rod in hand. The flats with there varied textures and colors are captivating. Better still are the fish that live and feed on them. The process involved in this is my focus. From beginner to experienced, I welcome all. I love to learn and teach about all aspects of this process Based out of key west, our ranges extends from the marquesas to big pine key. Fishing the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the basins connecting them. Some days are spent very close to the dock while hours might venture 30 miles from it The target species and the style which they are fished will vary. Wind, tide, season water temperature, visibility all play a role in the decision making. So too do the expectations and desires of the angler. I goal is to balance our hopes with the realities of a given day to catch fish, to teach, and enjoy the time on the water. All of the fishing opportunities have their unique.
