Trip guided by Capt. Miles

Capt. Miles Robertson 6-9 years of experience

About

All trips are based around sight fishing, whether that is using fly or light tackle. Depending on the target species, trips can take place anywhere, from marshes and small creeks to out on front of the beaches of our barrier islands. Depending on the year, the species we target include redfish, speckled trout, jack crevalle, tarpon, triple tail, and cobia.
Trips are for 1-2 anglers. You do need to have experience saltwater fly fishing and be able to double haul in order to have success on the fly in Savannah. Otherwise sight fishing with spin gear can be just as exciting. I will pick you up at a local boat ramp here in Savannah and from there we will start are day
My license covers the whole boat so there is no need to purchase a fishing license. I also have all tackle and rods that we will need. A cooler with ice and waters will be provided so feel free to bring any drinks or food you want to put in the cooler. Polarized sunglasses are a must have item.

For as long as I can remember I have been addicted to fishing and growing up in Savannah, Georgia was the perfect place to grow this obsession. Whether that’s tailing Redfish in the grass, cruising Jacks on the surface, or the yearly spring return of spawning Cobia, I specialize in sight fishing for them with fly and light tackle. I would love to show you what Savannah has to offer from the bow of a skiff. You can also visit my website at captmilesrobertson.com.
