Private trip guided by Josh

Central Florida fly fishing 6-9 years of experience

About

The lagoon systems in east central Florida provide a diverse ecosystem and is a year-round fishery for all species. Certain times of year can be better for certain species but temperature and weather patterns play more into target species than the time of year. It is not uncommon to have shots at all species in a day at any time of year.
Start time and meeting place will vary depending on weather forecast, time of year, water clarity, and best fishing.
People of all skill levels are welcome.
For beginners the day may start with a short casting lesson.

*Sight fishing on skiff can be a challenging and difficult way to fish. A half day trip is very convenient if you have a time conflict but it is not always the best option for the most success.

Guided by Central Florida fly fishing

Melbourne, Florida6-9 years of experience

I am a native Floridian and fishing guide that specializes is shallow water sight fishing for redfish, snook, black drum, tarpon, sea trout, and other flats species. I fish a large area of water that spans from Titusville to Vero and includes the Indian River, Banana River, and Mosquito lagoons.
My goal everyday on the water is to inform and coach my angler(s) on casting, presenting, and reading these fish in order to improve angling ability. Being on the bow of a skiff is already challenging for any angler and calm, clear communication from the guide is key to the anglers success.
I have spent my entire life learning these lagoons and studying the fish in them. I am devoted to providing a safe, educational, and successful day on the water for all my guests.
