Channel & Brown Outfitting Co. is pleased to offer authentic and "all wild" upland bird hunts in Montana.
Our Montana Upland Bird Hunting Hlients pursue Sage Grouse, Sharptail Grouse,Hungarian Partridge and Pheasants on 150,000 acres of private land that we have under lease.
Most spend countless days afield hunting in Arizona, Montana and Saskatchewan. Our dogs are a joy to hunt over and given the level of their expertise they will certainly add to the success of your hunt.
Our guided Montana upland bird hunting takes place around Malta and Saco.This area have great habitat for prairie upland game birds and offers some really good Sage Grouse hunting.Upland Bird Hunters can also combine some fly-fishing on the Missouri River, which fishes great during the fall months.

Orvis Endorsed Channel & Brown Outfitting Company L.L.C (MT Outfitter #7886) is a Cascade Montana-based outfitting service owned and operated by Lindsey Channel and Dave Brown.
Hatched during the Covid-19 pandemic when an opportunity came knocking in the form of buying out an existing outfitter's big game and upland bird hunting N.C.H.U. days. We both jumped at the opportunity, at the same time we had a good hard look at the Missouri River fly-fishing scene and started conducting trips with the best interests of clients and guides in mind.We do this by listening to our clients and asking them what they want to accomplish. Both Lindsey and Dave have their hands on the pulse of the river by being out there on a a daily basis guiding and fishing the Missouri River, which as a guide you need to do if you want to know what is going on day to day in order to guide on the Missouri River.
With a combined 50 years of outfitting and guiding experience is proof that we have been around for a while and know what it takes to successfully run an outfitting company focused on providing excellent customer service. During the fly-fishing season, you will find both Dave and Lindsey at the oars doing what they do best.
