Wish I could show the video here of Robbie JUMPING in the marsh after a red I'd hooked. What a night on the flood tide! He put me on 4 tailers as big as anyone would want. I'm a trout guy from the mountains so a beginner on the reds...but I'm hooked. Hooked 2 lined 1 and spooked 1. Bonus: dolphin show at sunset...they were jumping 20 feet off the boat. Cool. Book with Robbie Powell. Good rods, he ties his own flies, is cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I'll be back next season for another shot for sure!

We had a great time with Robbie! The fly rods and reels were spot on and he was well prepared and extremely knowledgeable. He put us on redfish in every spot and he was such a great coach on casting techniques and spotting reds. I got this charter for my son and his friend for spring break. They had an amazing time with an incredible guide. Weather doesn’t always lineup with life’s plans Captain Rob delivered on an amazing experience, he brought me to fish after fish after fish… provided me with the proper education on the targeted species and waters I learned a great deal and had an amazing time . we don’t need to look for any other guides in the Charleston area, I will be a repeat offender .
