About
Jump aboard one of our fishing boats, with room for four to fish. You will head west through Skidgate Inlet to Cartwright Sound. Here, amongst the gorgeous scenery, you will catch King & Coho Salmon, Rockfish, Cod and Halibut. At the end of the day, your catch will be processed, filleted, vacuum packed and flash frozen. It is then boxed up and ready for your flight home. We recommend that you pack light (25 lbs.) to maximize your airline baggage allowance so that you can take home as much fish as possible.
Package includes 4 nights lodging, and 3 days of fishing, and all of your meals! Prices are based on double occupancy, and are per person.

I'm Chad Whiteside, and I own and operate Sandspit Adventures! I'm from a small town in central Alberta, Canada, where I started fishing at 6 years old. My grandparents had a place up in the Canadian shield in Northern Saskatchewan where I cut my teeth fishing big water and big fish. In my early 20's I started Waterfowl guiding in and around Stettler County for one of the most elite lodges and continue to go back to there every year at some point. That was 20 plus years ago.
Fast track to today, I set my goals to semi retire at 50 and have a fishing lodge, well I guess I got the jitters and made that dream a reality at 40!
We now run a successful small lodge on Haida Gwaii, with 26 rooms and 6 boats. Our season is June 1st till early September. Still allowing me the time to meet new people and guide both saltwater and water fowl. My family and I still live in the area I was raised, and I thoroughly enjoy the hunting & fishing lifestyle and small community atmosphere.
