VerifiedI reached out to Jake to book an afternoon guide session for me and my 11 year old nephew and he responded immediately. He worked with both my nephew and I to make sure we had a great experience on the river. My nephew loved it and we look forward to another trip with Jake this fall when my nephew comes back to visit.

VerifiedGreat time, nice locations, excellent instructions. The fish were a bit elusive that day but the overall experience and attention to detail provided by Jake was exceptional.

VerifiedWhat a great day we had fishing with Jake. He was incredibly knowledgeable not only about Fishing, but also about the wildlife in the area. We took a Four hour drift boat float with him. The overall experience was not only educational. It was fun!! Unfortunately I did not catch anything but my wife caught three fish. I have never been fishing before so it was all new to me. Jake was absolutely great about having a at least really fish that he hooked but I reeled it in, so I did get to see the fish and hold it up for the picture. The booking process was all online and very easy. We would do it again in a minute and probably will in October when Jake recommended we do trout fishing at that point in the year. We will not only get to see the beautiful Western North Carolina tree colors turning we will also be able to keep fish! At this time of year mid July, we were only able to do catch and release and the season was for smallmouth bass. These were the rules for the French broad river we had to buy a fishing license, which was separate from the cost of the actual trip.
