I’m Captain Logan Leppla, a fly and light-tackle guide based in Eastern North Carolina. I specialize in poling shallow water for redfish, where success comes from patience, quiet movement, and keen eyes.
I’ve spent years fishing these waters—learning how redfish move through marsh creeks, grass flats, and open sounds as conditions change. Poling allows me to slow everything down and put anglers in position for real shots, not rushed opportunities. Whether we’re sight-fishing on fly or light tackle, the focus stays on clean presentations and making the cast count.
I guide anglers of all experience levels and tailor each trip to the conditions and your goals. My job is to read the water, manage the boat, and create opportunities—your job is to take the shot.
If you’re looking for honest inshore fishing in Eastern NC, focused on redfish and done the right way, I’d be glad to have you on the bow.
