Guided by Down Low Outfitters

Charleston, South Carolina10-19 years of experience

Down-Low Outfitters is a fully licensed and insured fishing charter, based out of the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina, and the one of a kind waters of the Lower Florida Keys. The most accessible airports are Charleston International Airport and Key West International Airport. D.L. Outfitters primarily focuses on sight fishing in shallow water on fly rods and conventional light tackle. Our mission is to put you on fish, in a safe and stress free environment. Sit back, relax, and let owner/operator Captain Danny Lynch take the wheel.

Danny has a great passion and connection with the sport of fly fishing. Like many anglers, it started in small mountain trout streams, but then naturally progressed to his home waters of Charleston, SC. As a Charleston native, he has spent his entire life exploring the amazing saltwater fishery of the lowcountry and what it has to offer. Growing up, he has traveled to some amazing fishing destinations, and has fished with some incredible guides. These experiences have shaped him into the angler and professional he is today. “I have taken in many pros and cons of people I’ve had the opportunity to fish with and learn from, and try to deliver the best experience on the water possible. My main priority is your safety and putting you on fish, but we should also have as much fun as we can. Rest assured, you are in good hands when you step aboard my skiff.”

When Danny is not navigating the Lowcountry marsh, he can most likely be found poling among mangrove islands in the Lower Florida Keys. He has spent his summers down there since his teenage years, and has a deep appreciation for the fishery and “conch life.” 15+ years and countless hours on the water later, he is still returning and constantly improving his knowledge of the area. “I may have more hours logged on the water in the Keys than in Charleston. The fishery there is truly amazing. The diversity provides many fish that can be targeted on fly….mainly the big three. Tarpon, bonefish, and permit.”
