About
Everglades National Park offers an extremely diverse array of fish species including Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Sea Trout, Snapper, Triple tail and Sharks. If conditions permit, you can push deeper into the backcountry and target Snapper, Grouper and Hogfish in crystal clear water. Capt. Shawn knows the backcountry like the back of his hand. He likes to cover lots of water and hit multiple spots throughout the day.
Half day:
Enjoy a shorter boat ride exploring the nearshore patch reefs, nearby bays, and the surrounding waters of Everglades National Park. This is a great trip for anglers that want flexibility to plan their off-the-water activities. Target species include Redfish, Snook, Snapper, and Sea trout.
3/4 Day:
Spend 6 hours exploring the edges of Everglades National Park casting to Snook, Sea trout, Tarpon, Redfish and sharks. The day starts with a 30-45 minute smooth boat ride into the Everglades on Shawn's 2021 Pathfinder Hybrid 2500 equipped with a Yamaha 300HP engine, GPS, fish finder, speakers, and a T-top to catch a break from the Florida sun.
Full Day:
A full day trip allows you to push further into the backcountry and target more fish species in a more remote and less-pressured fishery. Captain Shawn recommends this trip for the hardcore anglers that truly want to experience the wild and remote Everglades National Park. The further you push, the better the fishing gets.

Expect a smooth boat ride in on Shawn's 2021 Pathfinder Hybrid 2500 center console. It's a state of the art fishing machine powered by a 300HP Yamaha outboard motor and equipped with GPS, fish finder, speakers, captain's tower, and a T-top for anglers to escape the sun. Shawn typically uses conventional spinning rods, but if you'd like to try your hand at fly fishing let him know prior to the trip and he'll bring a fly rod.
Shawn can accommodate up to 4 anglers on the boat and provides all the necessary equipment and tackle but welcomes anglers to bring their own equipment if you feel inclined. Your fishing license is covered with the cost of the trip. Anglers are expected to bring your own lunch, snacks, and beverages for the day. If you'd like to keep your catch Shawn will clean and filet your fish at the end of the day.

Capt. Shawn is a second generation charter fishing captain, and has spent his entire life in the Florida Keys. Shawn grew up in Key Largo exploring the backcountry and offshore waters surrounding the Keys with his father. From a very early age, Shawn knew he wanted to be a fishing captain. He completed his captains license at the age of 18 and hasn’t looked back since. He has a deep respect for the fishery and wants to preserve and protect the ecosystem. Shawn has a magnetic personality and keeps the energy light on the boat.
