About

From May through July come enjoy crystal clear white sand flats, strings of giant migrating Tarpon and you on the bow with a fly rod in hand. Few things in the world of sport fishing compare to pursuing a Tarpon with a fly rod. They’re big, powerful, acrobatic, ancient fish and will burn a lasting image into your mind that will leave you with an unexplainable emotion that can’t be put into words. Simply put, time would be wasted to find a fish in comparison to a tarpon and all that it encompasses. The west coast of Florida is a major migration path and winters a large number of fish due to our bays and river ways along the coast. In fact several world records have been caught and broken just a short boat ride from where we fish. This is the pinnacle in Salt Water Fly Fishing. A lot of emphasis will be put on the pursuit of the fish but more importantly Tommy will give you years and years of instruction in a very short period of time. Tommy's goal as a guide is to develop his anglers into better all around fisherman on and off his boat.

Capt. Tommy provides rod, reels, and tackle, but welcomes clients to bring their own.

Tommy works closely with his clients and tailors each trip to the individuals needs. He will make suggestions for fishing locations based on conditions and fishing reports. He will provide a meeting location prior to the trip

Tarpon Springs, Florida10+ years of experience

Fishing and exploring the Florida outdoors are more than just hobbies to Capt. Tommy, they have been his passions for as long as he can remember. As a 3rd generation native of Florida, few are more familiar with the waters off the West coast of Florida. From Tarpon Springs to the Lower Keys Tommy has fished them and fished them extensively.

Beginning at a very early age, Capt. Tommy was mentored by what many consider some of the finest captains in the state. Now with over 15 years in the professional fishing and guiding industry, he has carried on their legacies while sharpening his own skill set to bring his clients extraordinary days on the water. Capt. Tommy’s acumen for saltwater fishing has allowed him to win or place in several prestigious tournaments targeting inshore species, as well as several bill-fish Tournaments. Being extremely well traveled, he has fished many exotic locations in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

However, nothing is dearer to his heart than the waters of Florida, where he excels at finding inshore gamefish including: Tarpon, snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, cobia, bonefish, and permit. Capt. Tommy also specializes in fishing for giant tarpon in the shallow estuaries of the West Coast of Florida.

Wether a day trip is what you seek or to see Florida in a light only a true Floridian can show you, Tommy will show you an experience that only few have been fortunate to witness.
