A relaxing trip for up to 2 anglers exploring the scenic Texas Hill Country waters. Options include fly fishing, light spinning, or conventional bass fishing. Any level of fishing knowledge and experience is welcome – from beginners to lifelong anglers. Each trip will be tailored to fit your needs. Grahame offers guided trips on Lake Travis, Lake Buchanan, Lake LBJ, Lake Bastrop, Decker Lake, San Saba River, and Llano River. Grahame will work closely to match your desires and tailor the perfect half day trip for you.
Grahame will have all the fishing gear you need including top of the line fly gear and flies, traditional light spinning and bait casting tackle (depending on the type of trip). After you book a trip, Grahame will reach out regarding the details and logistics of your trip including a map link of where and when to meet.
All anglers are expected to purchase a Texas Fishing License.

Grahame is a 5th Generation Texan. He’s fished the lakes, rivers, and bays of Texas and Mexico for more than 40 years. He’s fished in 16 US states, 4 countries, and 3 states in Mexico. Grahame is a State Licensed Fishing Guide, TPWD Angler Ed Instructor, and TPWD Boating Ed Instructor.
Grahame is a strong and vocal proponent of wildlife and fisheries conservation, habitat improvement and access to public lands and waters. He proudly served as a Texas Game Warden for twenty-seven years and retired as the TPWD Director of Law Enforcement in 2020.
Grahame is a past State Board Member for the Costal Conservation Association, State Chair for Texas Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, and received the 2020 Sam Beasom Conservation Leader Award from the Texas Wildlife Association. Grahame advocates for and is deeply involved with promoting The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act and recognizes the importance of recruiting new anglers who understand how state wildlife agencies fund much needed fisheries habitat improvement projects.
Grahame offers guided fishing trips on many of the Lakes and Rivers located within the beautiful and scenic Texas Hill Country including Lake Travis, Lake Austin, Lake Buchanan, Lake LBJ, Lake Bastrop, San Saba River, and Llano River.
