Siesta Key Tarpon Fishing – One for the Memory Books! 🎣 What an incredible two days on the water in Siesta Key with my sons, Nick and Matthew. We hooked into 9 giant Tarpon and successfully landed 5 of these amazing fish, releasing each one back into the Gulf after an unforgettable fight. A huge part of our success was due to the outstanding effort of our guides. Captain AJ Grande and Mate Walker Grande of Grande Charter Fishing were absolutely phenomenal. They worked tirelessly from start to finish, constantly adjusting, scouting, and doing everything possible to keep us on fish. Their knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic were second to none—and boy, did they put us on the Tarpon!

Aj is the absolute best! I brought a group of 12 guys down to tarpon fish. AJ coordinated all of the charters to accommodate the group. We caught lots of tarpon and had a blast.

Weather conditions weren't great after a week of high winds and cool temps and the fish weren't particularly playful but Capt. AJ made the half day trip a lot of fun for the kids & me. Will definitely go out with Grande Charters again.

AJ put us on the fish. Lures only decided we did not want to do live bait. Some really nice trout and reds. Looking forward to fishing with him again

For the third year, we had an awesome experience! Hooked 14, landed 7 monster 150 lbs tarpon! AJ quickly adjusted his techniques to where the tarpon were sitting and it was one amazing day. He also takes time to teach you. I am booking him again next year and likely during another part of the year to for different fish to continue to learn from him. Hire him!

Couldn’t have pictured a better way to celebrate my 21st… been wanting to rodeo with the Silver King for the past 2 years and the Grande brothers made that dream come true! The guys are super friendly and very knowledgeable. They made sure we didn’t go home until we got on some tarpon. Definitely booking with them again next year!!!

The trip far exceeded our expectations. Capt Grande was able to get us on tarpon within the first 15 minutes of the trip and provided constant action the whole entire time. 8/12 on tarpon on the day was awesome. Would highly recommend him.

Grande Charter is always a great time. AJ and Walker know where the fish are and make the trip fun, educational, and always exciting. AJ goes after the fish and doesn't wait for the fish to come to him (like some others). We had another great day on the ocean catching 5 huge Tarpon in just a few hours. It was also great to see AJ and Walker's caring for the Tarpon by making sure they are revived after a good fight and not just left exhausted to boat away. They truly care about the ecosystem, the fish and the ocean. True Fishermen in every sense !!

AJ was one of the best guides I’ve ever fished with. Great with kids and adults . Definitely one of the most organized , everything has a place on the boat and plenty of room for a big group. Beautiful legacy boat purposefully built for the area. Highly recommend!! 10 stars

I’ve done multiple trips with AJ and he’s an absolutely amazing captain, he puts us on the fish every single trip and he has a lot of respect for the ocean and the ocean life.!!! this young man is siesta key born and raised, and has a great reputation with many people in the area. I Highly recommend him !!!!!!

We had a great half day at sea with a ton of fishing and cruising. Hooked a large Tarpon chased by sharks… we will be back :-)

I don’t normally write reviews…. But it if you want to go tarpon fishing. This is your GUY!!!! They were Super patient with my two daughters. And we caught some monster Tarpon. What an EPIC day. One for the memory book. Will definitely book again!!!!!!

Simply awesome! Our second time out with Capt AJ and was a great time. We caught 6 huge tarpon. Capt AJ is professional, a nice person, and also teaches you what he is looking for when locating the tarpon. I will book him again!

Aj was the perfect captain for a fun day of fishing. His knowledge of the area and love for fishing is very apparent from minute one. The boat is set up perfectly to comfortably fish all day. This charter is unique, you feel like you are going fishing with a buddy that has all the right gear and knows the right spots. We have already booked for next season.

AJ took out our group of 5 and had me fighting a tarpon literally on the first cast. I had never fought a large tarpon before but AJ talked me through the entire fight to land the fish. He was great answering all our questions throughout the day and matched the energy of the group. AJ is a true professional, I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.
