Oriental Bull Drum 3/4 day 6 hour

This Charter is only available September and the first 2 weeks of October as these fish come in from the ocean to spawn and head back to sea with the October cool down. We leave the Town Dock in Oriental North Carolina pre sunrise and start our hunt for these surface feeding monster Bull Drum. We travels the Neuse River in search of feeding fish where we target these Bulls with Top water and Popping corks. Some time we may have to bait fish if the fish are not feeding on the surface. We cover a lot of ground to find the fish as their locations change daily. Expect fish 30 to 50 plus inches raging up to 50 lbs. Hold on tight as these are some of the Largest Redfish in the world and when they bite they are a drag screamer!!! We fish with medium light tackle and all fish are released as these monsters are our breeding fish and well above the slot size to keep. We can also target the slot fish to bring home some meat but the main goal is Hunting the Monster Bull Drum. Slot drum and specked trout can also be found in the same areas. Of landing a mister on Fly Rod , Bring your own gear and tackle including , (pop a fly)!!!! And flys imitating large shrimp and menhaden.
