Fishing in the Florida Keys is a bucket list for most anglers and the flats of the Florida Keys offer endless sight fishing opportunities! Whether it’s casting at laid up Tarpon, mudding Bonefish, or tailing Permit, there is always a species to chase on the flats! Capt. Brad will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing.
Target species are primarily Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Permit, and Bonefish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, fly fishing, and conventional/spin fishing.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. I will clean and filet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip if you decide to catch a few “tacos”' for dinner!
Exact meeting location will be discussed after booking.

Captain Brad grew up fishing the Chesapeake Bay area and was obsessed from an early age. He got a little taste of sight-fishing to striped bass, and needed to scratch the itch even more. He set his sights on the Florida Keys (the sight-fishing capital of the world). His obsession grew and he packed his belongings, bought a skiff, and moved to Islamorada, FL to chase his passion. He landed a job at Florida Keys Outfitters, and got a crash course master’s degree in sight-fishing to tarpon, bonefish, and permit on the flats.
Every waking moment that he isn’t working in the shop he’s on the water scouting, fishing, and learning. He received his captain’s license two years ago and started guiding fly fishing trips on the flats. To Capt. Brad, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching a client land a fish of a lifetime.
