Zac was phenomenal! We geared the trip toward my ten-year-old son and he (we all) had a blast. This is the perfect family fishing experience on Lake Placid. We learned so much about the area from Zac. Absolutely recommend!

Zac is one of the best guides ever. Zac was extremely knowledgeable of the waters and very accommodating. My son could not stop talking about how much fun he had. Zac took the time to teach my daughter and son how to fly fish and was more patient than I could’ve imagined. We will definitely be going to fish with Zac in the future.

We had an AMAZING experience with Zac when he took us fishing over Memorial Day weekend. He was super accommodating and let us define what we wanted to do. Zac offered suggestions and then provided us with an exceptional experience. We spend an entire day with Zac and he did not disappoint. The best things about Zac are his focus on CUSTOMER SERVICE and providing us with the best experience possible - and he did just that! We ordered food from a local restaurant he recommended (Lisa G's - it was amazing) and his parents brought it to the dock! It was amazing and loved the personal touch! He is also HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE - providing us with an exceptional fishing experience. He also knows the area well and was able to tell us stories about the area and the inhabitants of the amazing houses on Lake Placid. He had great focus on SAFETY and ensuring we were safe and comfortable while fishing. We caught LOTS of fish! In fact, we caught a 21 lb Lake Trout! It was Zac's expertise and understanding on how to catch one of these fish that we were able to catch it. Zac knows what he is doing! We also saw a bald eagle while fishing on Lake Placid (Zac knows where the nest is). My family had a great time and we can't thank Zac enough! You won't be disappointed if you spend a day or half a day with Zac. He'll go out of his way to provide you an experience you won't forget!
