About
8 hr trips fly fishing and primarily sight fishing the Upper Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay Systems. We will pursue redfish, mature seatrout, black drum, flounder and ladyfish primarily. Fishing outbof a state of the art Chittum Lagna Madre poling Skiff. Inpractice primarily catch and release but will occaaionally keep a couple of fish on client request. Our water is usually crystal clear with milds of shallow flats to hunt our targets. We can and will wade fish occaaionally when it makes the most sense especially with beginners. The better you can cast with accuracy in the wind the more productive you can be. It is a team sport and we can help. You are welcome to use our gear or bring your own. 7-9 weight rods with floating lines are your primary arsenal. Come chase them with us!

I grew up hunting and fishing South Texas and the mountains of Idaho and Wyoming. Primarily fly fishing and traditional archery hunting last 30 years. I have been fly fishing the Texas Coast since the early 90s. We began Laguna Fly Outfitters guide service about 5 years ago and 4D Outfitters hunting outfitting on our 2000 acre ranch in South Texas near Goliad in 2019. We take select number of hunters every year and guide fly fishing clients on the upper Laguna Madre February thru November with a few winter time trips when conditions are conducive to sight fishing.
