Private casting trip instructed by Tyler

Lowcountry Fisherman β€’ 6-9 years of experience

About

If it's your first time in the saltwater chasing redfish in the flats, I strongly recommend getting a casting lesson before our trip. This allows the guide to make minor adjustments to help your cast and make those shots count! This also allows the guide to know what he's working with when it comes to distance and skill level from a beginner or new saltwater fisherman.

Getting a fish to eat the fly is one thing, but there's a lot more that comes with it! Learn about the five-step process when getting fish effectively and strategically to the skiff before going out on your trip.

Don't look back on your trip wishing you could get that fly just a bit farther.... Book a fly casting lesson with us for an hour before our trip. Learn more about the flies, redfish behavior, and the area we are fishing in to better yourself and understand your adventure.

Guided by Lowcountry Fisherman

Edisto Island, SC 29438, USA β€’ 6-9 years of experience

Tyler Bowman is a Lowcountry Native who began fishing this area on his own at the ripe age of ten years old. The beautiful Lowcountry Marshes have been Tyler's backyard playground ever since he could remember. Tyler cherished being outside immersed in the marsh which created an unbreakable bond with the land. Growing up exploring the creeks around his home, guiding came naturally to Tyler. Many years of poling his friends and family around at a young age gave him an extra edge on the water. After a memorable mentorship and working at Seven Mile Fly shop in the Florida keys, Tyler came back to his roots, to guide on his home water once again. Helping others catch trophy fish on the fly rod is a rewarding feeling that fuels Tyler's passion for sharing what he loves. His goal is to show people the true beauty of the Lowcountry while helping push conservation concerns and documenting the journey along the way.
