Captain Nick Aliotta is a third-generation local waterman who grew up in a coastal lifestyle. As the son of a sportfishing captain, Nick learned the local waters and began targeting local species at young age. He developed his skills as a mate on sportfish boats which evolved into his becoming a world traveling sportfish captain. Most of this time was focused on billfish, in both the Atlantic, Caribbean, the Keys, and the Pacific oceans. Time in these remote locations has also provided the opportunity to advance his angling education by targeting tarpon, bonefish on fly, and many other species refining the different methods learned along the way. These experiences combine to provide an advantage of tackle and fish migration when guiding. With over 20 years of professional fishing experience Nick has a vast knowledge of all species but is most passionate about targeting tarpon with a variety of techniques. His competitive and determined nature has earned him the reputation of being one of the most consistently successful local tarpon captains. Captain Aliotta has a custom fishing boat designed by himself with all things “fishing” in mind. It enables each fisherman the best possible experience and chance to catch the target species of the day.
