Fishing charters start at Post Card Inn, Islamorada. I typically meet my guests between 7am and 7:30am, or noon for a half day PM. Bring whatever you want to eat and drink. Bring a light rain jacket and fleece if we are fishing winter months.
The Florida Keys and Everglades National Park are home to some of the world’s best fly and light tackle fishing. Popular species include Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Snook, Redfish, Jacks, and Snapper. Whether you want to catch your first saltwater species or hunt permit on the flats, I guide both beginners and experts and look forward to sharing my years of guiding experience with you.
From Everglades National Park to my home in Islamorada, let me show you what Florida has to offer and why this area is considered to be the sport fishing capital of the world. Be it fishing with artificial baits for snook and sea trout in the bays to hunting tarpon and permit with fly rod in hand, I work hard to make sure your trip is a memorable one.

I started guiding in Michigan, fly fishing for trout, steelhead, and salmon. I moved out to Montana. Guided in Twin Bridges, then an opportunity to move to Idaho popped up and I took it. I guided full Time in Idaho, fishing and hunting. I started hosting trips to Belize’s and Mexico in the off seasons. I
Moved to Islamorada 5 years ago. I went back and forth from Idaho to Islamorada for the first 2 years. Now I’m a full time guide here last year I worked 275 days. I also host trips now to Alaska.
