I am a fly fishing guide and owner of Raleigh Flyfishing Guide Service and Smith River Outfitters. I have been flyfishing for over 30 years and am passionate about sharing my love of the sport with others. I'm an Orvis Endorsed Guide and is a member of the Triangle Flyfishers Chapter of Trout Unlimited. We offer a variety of guided trips, from beginner-friendly lessons to advanced wade and float trips.

VerifiedRhen did a great job of getting us on the water and setting us up to catch some very nice trout! This was my first time fishing from a drift boat, so I especially appreciated his tips on casting and line management in that setting. Afterwards, my fishing buddy commented several times about how much that helped him, too. Rhen also worked really hard to find fish, even during times when weather had put them off feeding. He put in a hard day’s work for us. We’re looking forward to fishing with him again, whether for trout or smallmouth bass.
