Fishing with Reel McCoy Charters is great for first timers and experienced anglers alike. This can be a family friendly trip or for hardcore fishermen! We offer different styles of fishing based on our customers skills. Spinning gear, bottom fishing, casting, artificial, top water, light trolling - depending on the season, anglers experience level, and our targeted fish methods will vary!
We’ll leave from CC Haig Jr boat landing at the bottom of the bridge going on to Hilton Head Island.

Come fish with the Reel McCoy! My name is Captain Donovan McCoy, I have been a full time fishing guide around Hilton Head Island, SC for nearly 5 years. I dropped out of college to pursue my guiding career in 2016 and have spent countless days over the past 9 years exploring our local tidal creeks, rivers, sounds, and the Atlantic searching for the best opportunities to catch quality fish. I offer 3-6 hour trips for up to 4 guests on my 2021 20' Sea Pro.
We fish year-round for redfish inshore, but seasonally we target tarpon, cobia, big jack crevalle, black drum, sheepshead, and bull reds inshore and nearshore.
