Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Shallow Water Sessions • 3-5 years of experience
Enjoy a shorter, 4-hour trip or 8 hours on the bow of Capt. Kolton's 2018 Ankona Shadow Cast Skiff. Kolton is a traditional polling guide meaning that he pushes his skiff silently across the flats and shorelines looking for potential target species from an elevated position. Target species in the backcountry include juvenile redfish, black drum, jack crevalle, Spanish mackerel, and a few other additional seasonal species. Kolton practices catch-and-release only, so if you're looking to fill the freezer - he's not your guide. He's passionate about preserving the fishery and wants to ensure that future generations get to enjoy this magnificent landscape.
Kolton provides all equipment and tackle necessary, but anglers are welcome to bring their own!
Kolton loves sharing his passion with anglers of all ability levels - from first-timers to seasoned veterans. Book your adventure with Kolton today!

Fort Walton Beach, Florida • 3-5 years of experience
Kolton was born and raised in the Florida panhandle. He lives in Fort Walton Beach, FL currently which lies in the heart of the Emerald Coast. Kolton began fishing at a very early age with his grandfather as soon as he could hold a rod. Kolton grew up fishing from Pensacola, FL to Tampa Bay most of his life, and began his guiding career in 2018. Known for it's offshore fishing primarily, the backcountry of Fort Walton Beach is often overlooked which means less fishing pressure and better conditions for sight fishing. Kolton's Ankona skiff is designed to navigate extremely shallow water where the fish are much easier to spot. He welcomes anglers of all ability levels - from first-timers to seasoned veterans.
