I grew up in South Carolina, where a childhood spent chasing everything from largemouth bass to mahi mahi sparked a lifelong connection to the water. Early days spent outdoors taught me patience, awareness, and a love for the quiet rhythms of shallow places, values that continue to shape his approach to fishing today.

After graduating from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, I spent years working at sea in the offshore maritime industry. When not sailing around the world as a Merchant Mariner, I spent my time traveling the US, fly rod in hand, fishing everywhere from mountain streams to coastal flats. That passion eventually led me to the Texas coast, where I now guides full time, specializing in sight fishing for redfish in the back bays and marshes. My style is intentional and low-key, focused on reading water, tracking fish, and helping anglers experience the subtle magic of the flats.
