About

There are few fishing guides with the depth of experience and knowledge of the Lowcountry as Capt. Bryant Wilson.
A South Carolina native, Capt. Bryant has been fishing the marshes, estuaries and offshore waters of the South Carolina Lowcountry since he was a child in the early 80’s. With over 30 years of time spent exploring the waters of Lowcountry, and guiding Professionally now for just under a decade , you can rest assured you will be in good hands on your next fishing trip!

Being on the water every day, Bryant is has a knack for locating the fish, and patterning the tides, weather, and seasonality associated with the multitude of species the SC lowcountry has to offer its anglers ! From sight-fishing Red Drum year round to seasonal targets including Tarpon , big Jacks, Cobia, False Albacore , Triple Tail and a multitude of others, there’s sure to be something fun to target on either Fly or Light Tackle when you visit the area!

Join Capt. Bryant Wilson and experience the amazing Flats/Sight-fishery we have here in the Lowcountry! Offerings include inshore and nearshore trips and accommodate Anglers of all levels (fly & spin) who want to enjoy the thrills of sight - fishing.

You will be fishing from a premier Floyd 10-WT Technical skiff. You will target fish on low tide (mud/oyster/sand) flats, the skinniest of creeks, tailing fish on flood tide grass flats or focus on the inlets and nearshore wrecks for large migratory species.

Targeted Inshore species: Red Drum, Black Drum, Sheepshead, SeaTrout and Flounder.

Seasonal species include: Tarpon, Sharks, Cobia, Jack Crevelle and Tripletail from the late spring to early fall months.
Capt.Bryant typically fishes two anglers at a time (occasionally allowing 3 ). He also organizes and runs multi-boat trips for larger groups trips upon request.

Really enjoyed our trip with Bryant. He knows the waters of the lowcountry and is a great guide! It was our first time fly fishing in salt water, and he was extremely patient and a great teacher. Landed my first redfish on a fly! What a great trip. I will be back!

Peter is a fine young man. He was patient in helping us ;earn the ways of fishing for reds in the deep salt grass. I was used to fishing in more open water. He found the fish for us. Great day.

Had a great time, and got many, many shots at reds and even a bonnethead. Landed a big beautiful redfish. Highly recommended.

Capt Bryant is knowledgeable, fun to be with, a great teacher and advocate for amazing inshore fishing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him. We did a 6 hour trip and had a blast chasing and catching trout and tailing red fish. I’ll definitely fish with Capt Bryant again
