Come join us for an upland bird hunt in the Catskills. Ruffed grouse are the king of game birds and test your dogs training and shooters skills. Bring your favorite four legged companion or use ours! We typically hunt several to many covers throughout the day depending on the season and weather conditions. We are out and about scouting before the season, during the season and after the season to make each day rewarding for the shooters and dog handlers. Join us this fall and winter for bird hunts in the Catskills!

Greetings! My name is Matthew Sudol, I run Streams to Summit Guide Service LLC. I am an avid hiker, bird hunter and fly fisher. I grew up recreating in the Hudson Valley , Catskills and Taconics and am proud to call this area my home. I was an environmental scientist for 12 years and worked alongside many great fisheries and wildlife biologists on a myriad of projects in the NYC watershed and region 3. I want to give back the wealth of information, skills and tactics to those whom helped me become the passionate outdoors lover I am today! I focus on trout fishing the Catskills, the East of Hudson Tailwaters all year long for walk and wade trips as well as float trips. I have hiked many of the high peaks and beautiful vistas in our area. I can help you learn the reservoirs for trout trolling and jigging for smallmouth bass. Also I have extensive knowledge of bird dogs primarily English pointers having trained, bred and broke them to hunt grouse and woodcock in our area.
