Private trip guided by Gus

Sugs Fishing LLC 6-9 years of experience

About

Half day option:
Half day musky trips are 4-5 hours of fishing that does not include travel. This is the perfect trip for someone who is new to musky fishing and wants to learn what musky fishing is all about! It could be improving on your figure 8s, learning how to use a heavy duty bait caster setup, sharpen your skills with a new lure category, and many more! Of course this isn’t just beginners only, experienced anglers can expect to learn new ways to fish for each season, how to utilize their electronics more efficiently, or how to approach certain spots on lakes. No matter the level of experience I can promise you will learn a boat load and have a great time on the water!

Full day option:
Full day musky hunt includes 9-10 hours of fishing that does not include travel. This is more catered (but not limited) to experienced anglers who are looking for a full feel on what the northwoods musky hunt is all about. Muskies are notorious for feeding at specific times so this will be your best shot at your first musky, personal best, or getting multiple fish in the boat! Join me in the boat for an experience you’ll never forget!

Eagle River, Wisconsin6-9 years of experience

Gus has grown up fishing in Wisconsin’s Vilas and Oneida counties since he was 7 years old. Of all the fish this region has to offer he has landed on the top predator of the northwoods food chain - the infamous musky. Although Gus is new to the guiding game he is no stranger to hooking in to these phantom fish on the regular. In the last two years he has had 180+ muskies boated - many in the 40+ inch category, 27 and counting lakes that he’s boated fish on, 2nd place in the National Championship Musky Open in 2021, an 8th place finish in a professional musky tournament trail (PMTT) event in 2022, and a 4th place solo fishing a PMTT event in spring of 2023. He is knowledge filled and loves to teach new and seasoned anglers everything about muskies. He is a charismatic, young fisherman that you’ll be sure to have a great time with!
