Enjoy a trip exploring the backcountry waters of Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River in pursuit of tailing redfish. Capt. Tanner will utilize his 10+ years of experience to stealthily put you in position of laid up redfish in the backcountry. Tanner is proficient with a fly rod and will work closely with his clients on presentation and casting. Although redfish are the primary target species, angler will have occasional shots at black drum, snook, and a few other bi-catch species.

Capt Tanner runs a Hell's Bay Waterman which allows him access to super skinny waters that hold abundant redfish. Cost of fishing license is included in the trip price.

Captain Tanner is a fully-licensed USGC captain based out of the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River area. He was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina where he learned to fly fish at a very early age. Tanner specializes in light tackle and fly fishing. During the spring and fall he targets redfish in the backcountry. From May through July, Tanner moves his operation to Marathon, FL and switches gears to tarpon during the migration.

Captain Tanner runs a Hell's Bay Waterman for his redfishing, and an East Cape Evo for tarpon season. Tanner is a laid back guy and welcomes anglers of all experience levels from first-timers to seasoned vets.
