Great trip!

Our guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable of the area. Despite the wind and cooler temps, we found fish and had a great day. We also learned a lot about fishing the flats, which was a new experience for my wife and me. We would definitely do it again (hopefully next year)!

Booked a last minute, late season trip out of Key West with Guide Chris Wilson. Had low expectations with the cooler weather but Chris was a rockstar! Put me on early morning tarpon (which I missed), mid morning bonefish schools which we crushed! And late day barracuda. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Chris is good, mellow company and is truly a great guide. Do yourself a favor and work on your longer casts with heavier line before a day out. Chris worked his tail off positioning the skiff to maximize my short casts and did a hell of a job. Highly recommend him. Great communication and knows the keys.

I was previously ripped off by a guide (signed papers on him while in town) and then started working with these folks. They are the professionals you hope to always work with. When all seemed lost they got me a trip with an outstanding guide and all round great guy. I turned 70 on this vacation and truly wanted to catch a Tarpon on a fly rod, and I did. Thanks to this team and Mike Cyr. They stayed up with me all the way and I will be back!

We had a great time, being my first time bonefishing. Steve Hancock was excellent, teaching the whole time. I was finally rewarded with a bonefish. The conditions were tough but Steve moved to places we could fish. I was very pleased with my experience.

I fished with Brian out of stock island, key west, for 2 days in mid April 2024 Day 1: I was with my brother who is a beginner with the fly rod. Brian was patient, considerate and an excellent teacher. We fished for almost 9 hours. The tarpon were plentiful and the weather and tides were cooperative. Brian got me into two separate hookups with juvenile tarpon on the 11 wt. Neither landed, but the explosive fight of those fish will be memorable. Day 2: I fished with my daughter who is also a novice fly fisherwoman. We fished for a half (6 hour-ish) day with Brian who got us into many rolling tarpon. The weather had turned a bit and the wind had picked up to about 20 knots. It was a technically difficult day due to the gusty conditions. My daughter was able to land a yellow jack on spin casting gear. Again, Brian was instructive, exceptionally undaunted and informative. A very hardworking guide with a very laid-back attitude. I would recommend him highly and plan to fish with him again soon. Consider yourself lucky if he's available to take you out. Great job, bravo!

We had a great trip with Captain Mike Cyr. He was knowledgeable about the area, a very patient teacher for my son who was new to sight fishing, a fun person to be around. He worked hard to put us on a variety of fish and gave us chances to make numerous and sometimes humorous casts. We would definitely recommend him.

This shop is owned, run, and guided by the best saltwater fly anglers on the planet. If you are fly fishing in Key West, this is the place. They will make you a better angler, put you on fish and make you want to come back every year, which my family now does. Best crew imaginable.
