Enjoy a 4-hour wade along the beautiful beaches of southern California at sunrise. You will be casting over breakers into shore troughs for leopard sharks, surf perch, sand bass, and rays. You may even have a chance to sight cast at the ghost of the pacific, the infamous Corbina, as it tails in the oncoming tide looking for sand crabs.
Beginners welcome, please keep in mind we will be wading in sand and potentially in knee deep water. California fishing license not included. We will meet at the San Clemente pier at sunrise and finish off the morning with a local breakfast from Bear Coast.
Exact meeting location will be provided after booking.

Olivia Mae was born in Colorado, raised in a small beach town called San Clemente, CA and has lived in several states since. After discovering fly fishing while living in a camper one summer on the Metolius River in central Oregon, she fell in love with all things fly and fishing. From there she led international trips in the salt for students of all ages to travel to new places with fly-fishing as common ground. Olivia now guides the waters of Colorado, Honduras and surf fishing in southern California and particularly loves getting her clients on schools of tailing permit while wading flats.
