During the Shad and Herring spawn, Stripers move shallow to take advantage of the bait and create a feeding frenzy. Unlike the fall Striper blitzes that last for only a few minutes, these fish will sit on a point busting topwater for hours! If you’ve never experienced this you’re missing out on one of the coolest Striper fishing techniques around!
