In the area and want to get out on the flats for a day with one of the best guides in Xcalak? All of our guides are thoroughly vetted, trained, and supremely fishy. They speak decent english and would be stoked to put you on some fish!
Day trips leave from our dock at 8am and return around 4pm. Parking is available at the lodge. Lunch is provided and eaten on the water mid-day. Your guide will have a cooler with beverages but we always recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, bug repellent, and your favorite flats booties.
The Caribbean sun can be harsh so layer up and protect your skin with hooded sunshirts, buffs (neck gaiter), and hats! All available for purchase in our small on site fly shop!
Daily rate: $400 (1-2 anglers per boat) + 8% VAT tax = $436usd. Rate does not include a tip for your guide. We recommend $50-100usd per angler, per day.

Xcalak on the Fly is the Yucatan Peninsula’s newest fly fishing lodge based out of Casa Paraiso. At XOTF, our goal is to provide you with the most personalized and all-inclusive fly fishing experience. Our packages and trips were designed by fishing-obsessed father and son duo Jim and Chase Looney with anglers in mind.
